Unwaste®
Unwaste® is a circular material suitable as a no chemicals alternative to footwear's upper part. It replaces a layer of plastic foam that usually sits hidden between the layers of most footwear. Unwaste is made from recycled post-consumer garment waste.
The production process involves mechanical recycling of the raw materials.
It has been tested against the foams on tensile, tear and flexibility and matches the footwear industry's standard. Material is available in varying thicknesses and GSMs to suit multiple applications. It is fully recyclable.
