Uncrude®

  • Additional Information

Uncrude® is a shoe sole that is made from natural materials. Rice waste (a major agricultural waste in India) along with natural bio-based inputs pine, soy, and palm, contribute to the finished product.

Not only does it address the end-of-life issues associated with plastics, but the circular material also keeps them from leeching microplastics into the ground while in use.

Developed in-house, Uncrude takes on two formulations with a similar ideology behind it: create a no chemicals product that is safe for humans and the environment.

Uncrude® Footbed is 96% bio-based and uses a base of natural rubber and cork. They not only help reduce the carbon emissions generated in the process but also work to sequester carbon.

Uncrude® Outsole is 70% bio-based and utilises natural rubber and agricultural waste from the rice harvest —an abundance in India.

Both have been tested for footwear for flexibility and abrasion, amongst other parameters.
