LIST (Loliware intelligent seaweed technologies) is a seaweed-based proprietary material created by Loliware. The bioplastic is labelled Hypercompostable™ which in their terms refers to its ability to break down at the same rate as food waste. The bioplastic can achieve this in the natural environment, in a household compost systems or in waterways.
The impressive material is initially being used by Loloware in the production of drinking straws to eliminate the need for traditional plastic straws.
