Coir

Coir is a natural leaf fibre that is extracted from the outer shell of coconuts, it is very course and has been designated as a Future Fiber by the Food and Agriculture (FAO) organization of the united nations.

It is the most resistant of all commercial natural fibres it is commonly used for its very low decomposition rate.

Coir can be used in a range of applications, ranging from rope, to matting, to commonly being used as a geotextile
