FORZ®Glaze
FORZ®Glaze is a ceramic glaze derived from waste ashes. Inspired by Uzbeken craftsmanship,
designer Studio Mixtura and recycler Mineralz has developed a range of beautiful, clean and
safe glaze mixtures in modern colors. Unique in its origins and impactful in its application.
FORZ®Glaze is based on materials that we earlier considered waste streams. Ashes such as
bottom ash and paper ash are mixed with glass powder to create this sustainable and circular
glaze product. The circular and sustainable properties for FORZ®Glaze result in a cleaner
ceramics production process. For instance, FORZ®Glaze prevents toxic waste, reduces CO2
production and the authentic look prevents the drop-out of so-called imperfections. The application
of FORZ®Glaze will have a huge impact on a big and rather conservative industry being
ceramics.
