Xanita
Xanita Core is a natural cellulose fibreboard engineered from 100% recycled craft paper fibres. The circular material is lightweight, and both formaldehyde and VOC-free, which forms the inner core of the entire collection of Xanita boards.
Production process
Xanita Core is manufactured to a 0.3 mm thickness tolerance using advanced cutting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on panel edging machinery.
The industrial design team takes care of the 3D structural design, followed by 3D modelling, renders, cut files and DTP.
Designs are then sent to production for prototyping if needed. Once signed off, the project is put into full production. Once production is complete, the project is quickly shipped flat-packed.
Material properties
Xanita Core is produced from recyclable waste paper & is a multi-purpose, composite & low-density fibreboard. It is strong, flat packable & direct printable.
Xanita Core is made from precision corrugating and cutting kraft paper to a 0.3 mm tolerance. It has a higher crush strength & surface bonding area relative to an expanded honeycomb board found in cheap, hollow core doors.
It is ideal for laminating with rigid skins like MDF & plywood & in acoustic panel applications where high sound absorption is required. It also reduces the weight of thick panels where weight reduction is critical.
It retains rigidity & stability under humidity & temperature fluctuations. It is considered non-fungicidal & would not promote the presence of insecticides.
Currently, it caters to different industries like retail, expo, built environment, decor, events, agriculture & even coffins/caskets.
Circular features
Xanita Core is fully (97%) recyclable & repulpable. All components are classified as non-hazardous with no volatile carcinogenic decomposition.
Raw Materials
- Xanita Core is derived 100% from upcycling kraft paper waste & contains no virgin-free fibres
Afterlife Plan
- It can be recycled, remade into pulp & reused in the material cycle again
