WasteBasedBricks®
WasteBasedBricks® from Stonecycling are masonry bricks made from building waste.
With up to 30% or waste being generated from debris from construction, demolition and industrial processes, Stonecycling created WasteBasedBricks® with the goal to design out waste.
The bricks come in a range of colours, sizes and textures depending on your application and they are suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
The company has a standard product range, but for projects exceeding 1000 m² the company can develop a WasteBasedBrick® especially for your application, both aesthetically and in terms of sizes and shapes.
With the goal to reduce both waste (landfill) and raw material consumption, the bricks are made using at a minimum 60% waste material and the company is currently looking to take this to 100%. Along with this, at full-scale production, the material uses 25% less waste than conventional bricks.
