Rootfull
Rootfull is a natural material grown entirely from grassroots.
The circular material is cultivated utilising the roots of grass, the only ingredients are grass seed, water and a little time – 12 days in fact.
The roots can be grown into a variety of shapes and thicknesses and can be treated to achieve different colours and textures.
The material can be dried to be stiff and light-weight like straw or treated or be coated in natural oils to achieve a supple, flexible state suitable for clothing.
The final product is home compostable and 100% biodegradable.
