Yulex® OC - Open Cell
Yulex® OC foam is a high performing plant-based open cell foam made from ultra-purified, FSC® 100% Yulex.
The circular material is an excellent replacement for harmful, petroleum-based polyurethane foams, and is easily cut to size and/or contoured to complex shapes using traditional equipment, processes, techniques, and tooling.
It was originally developed for the apparel and sleep products industry, but Yulex® OC has hundreds of applications in a vast array of industries and sectors.
The material is biodegradable, it is flexible, durable, and available in a wide range of firmness: from extremely soft to highly firm.
Yulex® OC can be used in a range of applications from footwear padding and cushioning, medical products, packaging, furniture, fashion, automotive and marine applications. The material can also be used as insulation or to provide sound dampening.
