Hemp Oil
Hemp oil is an environmentally friendly natural wood oil used to seal and protect timber. The oil is sourced from industrial hemp plants, is zero VOC’s and one of only available ‘Green’ environmentally friendly material finishes available.
Typically uses for Hemp oil include finishing and sealing bare wood, cutting boards, carved utensils and for use over existing finishes like milk and chalk paint. Depending on the conditions during harvest, the oil colour can vary from light green to a golden yellow.
The oil is food safe and when applied provides a non-glossy, subtle matte finish. It is hard drying and curing time is taking 7 to 10 days for a partial cure and 15-30 days to fully cure.
